At Van Diemen Luxury Craft we believe that your luxury tender can ‘have it all’.

With a focus on elegance, comfort, performance and versatility, we bring exclusive tenders to super yachts with complete customisation. Offering a new experience in tender manufacture, Van Diemen work with clients to create a completely individualised and personal product of practicality, quality and luxury. Van Diemen is an innovative boat building enterprise designing and constructing state of the art vessels, which comply with stringent size and build quality specifications. Using quality materials and world class craftsmanship, Van Diemen designs vessels to embody every aspect of luxury and functionality. Built in Australia, vessels are shipped worldwide with a commitment to excellence, care and quality. Founding marine engineers, Andrew and Matthew, share a passion for boats and a flair for design. They have been working in the commercial marine industry and the super yacht industry for a combined 30 years.

Matthew CrazE - Director

Matthew completed a marine engineering degree at the Australian Maritime College in 1999. He has worked on all varieties of commercial motor vessels throughout Australia, Asia and Europe. Matthew completed the build of a 62m superyacht in The Netherlands and worked on board this vessel as chief engineer for four years. Since then he has had involvement in the early stages of an 80m super yacht build in Germany. Throughout this time he has gained extensive knowledge and experience of this industry. 


Andrew Fearman - principal designer 

Andrew has worked as a marine engineer on many different types of commercial ships as well as working in the superyacht industry. He began at the Australian Maritime College as a naval architecture student and then later transferred to complete his degree in marine engineering. Andrew worked for a prominent design and engineering firm, gaining experience in Computer Aided Drawing and Design and has since furthered his knowledge using Rhino 3D Modeling Software. Andrew lectures at the Australian Maritime College and is contracted as a Marine Surveyor for Marine and Safety Tasmania. This exhaustive set of skills and attributes complement all aspects of Van Diemen's vision.



Jo has a background in marine and environmental research, and has worked as a consultant in environmental science. She completed a PhD in Aquaculture and is a qualified Coxswain and Scientific Diver. Jo also has training in governance and leadership in her role as Director in the not for profit sector. Jo’s training and experience in research, project management and governance provide organisational and management skills to support Van Diemen’s projects and processes.



Angela's passion for the super-yacht industry developed whilst a stewardess on board a Feadship 62m new build. She was involved in the fit out process in The Netherlands before working throughout the Mediterranean and Caribbean. A skillset in small business management and finance, as well as a keen interest in photography and design lends itself to a role as both Finance and Marketing Manager. Underpinning this is a strong and successful career in Education which has contributed to her broad range of skills required in this field of endeavour.
